I’ve worked in the social media marketing (and online marketing) space for the last ~10 years.

The #1 issue I’ve seen is that brands often forget that social media is SOCIAL. We get excited about AI, marketing flows, data analytics, and (insert cool thing here) — only to realize that the best marketing happens when we try to seek authentic connections with who we are helping.
